Children love to play in the sand! Give them the beach every day at home with our quality play sand - it makes great sand castles!

Our play sand is made specifically for children's sandpits and play areas. It is a high quality silica sand that acts as a safe, protective surface for children to play on.

Unlike building & concreting sand our play sand is washed at source, determining that excess lime has been removed and as a result will not leave any residues on children's clothes. More importantly it will not cause injury to a child's skin or eyes due to excess lime. (But please instruct the little ones to be careful, any sand in the eyes is not pleasant!!)

Each bag is approx 25kg and is supplied in then following quantities: 

40 X 25 kg bags: Will cover approx. 6 square metres at 100mm(4”)

1 Tonne Bulk bag: Will cover approx. 6 square metres at 100mm (4")

Critical Fall Height as follows;

150mm Depth: 1.5M Critical Fall Height
300mm Depth: 2.5M Critical Fall Height

Top Tip: You may also need some anti-weed membrane.
